Jenadee Nanini

Jenadee Nanini is Managing Attorney of 家庭 Law and Immigration with the D.C. 酒吧公益中心. She serves leads the 家庭 Law Assistance Network (FLAN), mentors pro bono attorneys through our 宣传 & 正义的诊所, develops and leads 家庭 law trainings, and leads our quarterly Immigration Clinic. Jenadee Nanini is also an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Law Center, teaching a practicum titled Helping Pro Se Litigants in 家庭 Court.

Prior to joining the 公益性服务 Center, Jenadee worked as a Senior Associate at the DC Affordable Law Firm (DCALF), a nonprofit providing low bono and pro bono services in the District of Columbia. Before that role, she was a fellow at DCALF. She served clients in immigration, 家庭, 还有遗嘱认证案件, served as a Guardian ad Litem, and trained incoming fellows. 在法学院期间, 她在NAACP实习, the White House under President Obama, and represented juveniles in criminal cases through the Juvenile 正义的诊所. 在法学院之前, she taught middle and high school math through Teach for America in West Dallas, 德州. After her two-year term with Teach for America, she served as the Math Department Chair at Pinkston High School and taught algebra II in West Dallas, 德州. She also mentored and coached several sports in the community during these three years.

Jenadee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a third major in Philosophy, from Washington State University – Honors College. She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Civil Justice from Georgetown University Law Center and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.

Jenadee is a member of the District of Columbia 酒吧. She also is a member of the Native American 酒吧 Association, Washington Council of Lawyers, and the American 酒吧 Association. She previously served as the Vice President and President of the D.C. 酒吧 Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
